Will a Fuji X camera ever be able to produce photos close to these?

Example 1

Example 2

I'm considering the X system. I'm also interested in the 24mm equivalent focal length, glass that's as fast as possible (ideally F1.4 as used in these shots) and the kind of control over DoF that a full-frame camera can give you.

I know that Fuji's 14mm 2.8 is the closest 'native' offering to this. I know that compromise is inevitable. I know that the X-Trans sensor probably could produce similar IQ to that of these photos - my question is not about IQ. And I don't mean this in a mine-is-bigger-than-yours way (since I don't own a setup that could ever produce these photos!).

But for the sake of discussion: now that the X system is mature, we have adapters for third-party lenses, Metabones Speed Boosters, etc., and considering what you know of upcoming lenses/accessories, can you think of any gear, using the Fuji X system, that could get closer to producing shots like these than the Fuji XF 14mm?

Thanks!
