He is talking about this beauty:

(the new version of the lens, it isn't available in M4/3 or E mount either as they mention on their tech specs, error on the site).

It looks like an amazing lens if it performs as well as it should based on MTF charts. Looks the same as the old Sigma 30mm f/1.4 out to 7.5mm from center, but much improved from 7.5 to the corner of the frame.

The old Sigma showed about 50% contrast at 10 lp/mm and 10% at 30 lp/mm in the corners at f/1.4, the new one shows about 70% at 10 lp/mm and 50% at 30 lp/mm. In layman's terms, the new lens is way higher contrast at the edges and better resolving at f/1.4. We will have to wait and verify that it performs well stopped down too.

My suggestion is contact Sigma and tell them you want this lens. Less than half as much as the 31mm, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it perform as well. The old 30mm was already excellent in the center, just lacking near the edges (made it a good single person portrait lens).

Yes, it's one of their new "Art Lenses"

Supposed to be an improvement over their old 30 f/1.4, which some folks seem to be confusing it with
