Re: NX200 DR

In may I'll be spending a couple of days in Paris with my son. I want the emphasis to be on our time together and not on photography so I've almost decided to leave my 5DII at home. I'm thinking of bringing my NX11 + 30mm, but I've never been totally convinced by the IQ that the NX11 offers. Especially the limited DR worries me. If I look at the numbers at DXOMark the DR of the NX200 looks like a real improvement but if I look at the review here the DR still seems quite limited.

Has anyone here compared the DR of the NX11 vs NX200? Is there a real improvement? (I'm shooting RAW btw).

I had the NX100 for a short time (a long time actually, during which it was mostly in the repair centre.  Anyway...) and the NX200 definitely has a wider dynamic range, but there is something to watch out for: when you try to take the shadows and bring them up at all, because there is a colour cast that depends on the lens - there are several threads on this.  Bring up the shadows just a little and it's just an extremely slight, almost imperceptible colour cast.  Bring them up a lot and it is obvious.  I haven't noticed anyone reporting this issue on the NX1000, NX210 or NX20.  And of course the NX300 is coming out with yet again another sensor (if only to add phase autofocus sensels).

I think the NX200 colour depth and resolution are a nice improvement over the NX100, especially highlighted by the 30mm.  But if I was choosing right now I would definitely get the NX20 or wait.
