SX50: The moon, all alone this time...
Another shot taken on the same night. Came out quite well, despite the less than perfect atmospheric conditions...
Post-processing = crop & resize.
Great image! You've timed it just perfect to capture the seven or so large craters along the terminator, with their entire rims illuminated. There's a lot of nice detail with low noise in your image. Thanks for sharing!
What were the specifics as to camera, focal length, f-stop, ISO, and exposure?-- hide signature --
I was using my Canon SX50 on a rather rickety tripod - I forgot to turn IS off, which made framing (and keeping it in-frame!) the subject an exercise in frustration.
The 'missing' exif info is: ISO80, 1/4sec, f8, 198mm focal-length (50x).
