How much better IQ can you realistically expect from E35 without OSS?

A lot, it all depends on the sensor, the aperture, the distance to subject, the subject itself, the photog.

Zeiss is known for ultra-sharpness, and probably closest to Leica lens' renderings.

The Zeiss formula has held up over time.
