It sounds like you will have a blast with the new camera. When the savings recovers, a wide angle is probably next by the look of things. I looked at the Sig, Tamron, and Tokina for aftermarket wides and there are some options for not too much money. The Sigma 10-20mm has a good rep and doesn't cost bank like the Nikon 10-24mm for example. It's half the cost, but I don't believe the Nikon is twice as good.
