I teach photograph and questions about tools always come up but that is it, they are questions about tools and not one tool is the most efficient for every job.  Learning about the tools and their different attributes allows the photographer to understand the differences and choose which tool is best suited for the task.  I sometimes refer to the camera as the hammer used in building the image.  As artists we get attached to the tools we use because we truly rely on them but it isn't the camera that creates the image it is the photographer and as a teacher I truly don't care what camera a student has as long as they can get the image that they envisioned.  Get the tool that is within the budget
