Using Cokin P series filters on mirrorless cameras
I am thinking of picking up the new Sony NEX 3N as a replacement for my live-in-my-handbag-go-everywhere compact. For that use, I'm not plan planning on buying filters but I'm thinking of also picking up one of the primes to use for more serious photography alongside my SLR. Would it be Ok to use P series filters on something like the Sigma 19/2.8 or the Sony 35/1.8 with a step up ring to say 52mm then a 52mm adapter for the P series holder? Or am I going to have to buy a second set of A series filters? I suppose as long as the NEX is on a tripod I could just hold something like an ND filter in front of it.
