If Nikon Reseases an APS-C Mirrorless, Will You Jump Ship? And Another Question, too...

No, I bought into N1 series because of its size (body+lens) and its usefulness  as a travel and silent camera.

I dropped my DX system altogether and I think I already have my "perfect combo" of camera series for my family needs:

1.  Waterproof PS (pentax->Olympus TG2): waterproof, deepest DOF

2.  Compact swivel LCD enthusiast PS (EX2F): super portability, off angle shots, general non critical

3.  Compact ILC  (2 J1-> J1 & V2): Travel, silent, general non critical, long tele with adapter, silent

4.  Full Frame (D700): critical pictures, portraits, shallow DOF, etc

I may rent a D7100 for birding/safari (or buy in a few years refurbished if price is right) for its additional 1.3 crop to use with FX lenses. No plan for additional DX lens purchase.

ps. I truly believe photography as a hobby is defined by the pleasure you get from the activity. It does not matter what equipment or results. I am a hobbyist and a very awful photographer (snapshooter is a better name) but a very happy one.
