5D lens questions
Up until now I was mainly a Sony shooter with both an A65 and a NEX-5N. I recently sold off the A65 and bought a 5D and Sigma 50/1.4 a few days ago as an entry into full frame photography. I've enjoyed the Sigma over the past few days, but man is it heavy. I was originally assuming that over the coming months I would round things out with 35mm and 85mm primes, but now I'm thinking about bringing back this hunk of glass and going with the 40mm pancake paired up with a 28mm and 85mm of some sort. I've always been fond of 28mm lenses on a crop sensor so the 40mm isn't an odd length for me.
Since I don't have the baggage of already owning both a 35mm and 50mm lens, does it make any kind of sense for a primes shooter to go without either on a full frame body?
