300mm f4 IS with 1.4x extender

300mm f4 IS with built-in 1.4x tel-extender.

An upgrade to the current 300 f4 IS, but as sharp as the 300 f2.8 II, and as light as the 300 f4L.  4 stop IS.  Image quality comparable to the 400 f5.6L when using the 1.4x.  Cost a lot less than the 200-400 with 1.4x.

Why built-in 1.4 extender?  Better to follow the action without the down time of adding/removing extenders, each would take twice the time of changing lens.
