The clouds also show strong wind direction of R to L, matching the lean of the tree.  Very good!

When the image suggests strong wind speed (ie tree leaning over) and you want to emphasize that perception, consider not centering the tree, but place it on the left hand side with more empty space upwind (on the Right).  In that regard the lower shot is more effective, but the small tree in the background penetrates the outline of the tree in front.  Get a bit lower to prevent that.

On the upper shot I would dial back on the polarizer effect, its causing an unnaturally strong gradient in the sky.
