D800 is within factory standard! Needs +20 to stop it front focusing.

Update, +20 only needed for incandescent

The story unfolds. So it seems the +20 on all my lenses are only needed for incandescent/tungsten light sources. On a couple of lenses, even +20 doesn't completely fix the severe front focusing issue, but fine tuning setting is already at the max.

Although switching to daylight or daylight-balanced light source eliminates this problem, it begs the question, is it acceptable to have a D800(E) that only focuses properly in daylight?

Will Nikon Canada even entertain me when I bring my D800E to them tomorrow, we shall see?!
