BorderFX Text rotation
I am also having the same problem. I really need to be able to rotate the text just a bit, but to no avail. I tried changing it from user defined, to something else like you suggested but unfortunately it did not work for me. I made sure I had the latest version of the plug-in too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Yes, the latest version still seems to have the same bug, but the new UI layout seems to prevent the old work around from working now!
There is a solution. Within Aperture, add the text you want as a Caption.
Then when you export via BorderFX, when you add the text, choose 'Add Metadata' instead of 'Add Text Box'. You can select the metadata, but the default should be the Caption you gave in Aperture.
The Rotate selection box should then be enabled.
Note, there has always been a lateral thinking approach too. Rotate the image before you send it to BorderFX, then you won't need to rotate the text. You can use preview to rotate the exported image back to the correct orientation.
