it's a specialty lens (examples)

It's a true specialty lens, but how much cheaper could it be? It's sharp and well-built, and super compact.

It's what used to be called a 'creative' lens, and it makes photography an entirely experimental experience where you just don't know if it will work until you try it. What comes out the other end is the unique product of your experience. Like any lens, 1 keeper out of 10 is an outstanding hit rate, but that one tends to be more memorable when the lens in question is a fish.

You have to keep your fingers well back or they will be in-frame - it's that wide. There's certainly no point to de-fishing if you have a 7-14.

If you don't like it, how much have you lost? Resell the lens for a slight usage fee. Everyone has to try it for themselves, and used lenses are an easy sell anyway.
