I subscribe and Panny took the top three spots in the "SLR Like" category. They really loved the GH3, the images, and the feature set. They also loved the EVF and see it as an advantage over optical viewfinders.

Now, what frozen pizza does dpreview think is the best value?

Which energy-efficient clothes washing machine does dpreview recommend?

When will dpreview publish their test of latex paints and deck stains?

In other words, Consumer Reports should stick to testing the kinds of things that the do well and leave the technical tests to others. Frankly, an EVF is not always an advantage, sometimes it's a disadvantage, but the snap shooters at Consumer Reports might never figure out why.

You don't TAKE a photo, you MAKE a photo.

One way to look at this:

Panasonic makes good products, then markets them (at least in the US) comically ineptly.  Consumer Reports just did Panny (and by extension, m43 users) a potentially significant favor, as C.S. is widely read/utilized in the US.
