SD1M and 24-70 mm lens at 24 mm

I have been doing some testing of the 24-70 mm lens at the lower end to see if I can get some satisfactory results. In a previous post I put in some shat a 30 mm and wondered if they were good enough to quench my thirst for a DP2M. The answer was yes i want one and no I don't need one  ;O)>. The lens at 24 mm is a little soft on the edges and corners, but very good in the center of the frame. These 2 images from Red Rocks look pretty good up to about 50%. At 100% the edge issues become very apparent. The lens work pretty good above 30-35 mm and as these results show can be used at lower FL with a little care.

Thanks for looking.
