As a newcomer to this forum I hope someone can help with my problem.

I have been impressed with my OM-D but had problems today when using the camera in A mode, on a very sunny day with an ISO of 400 and f8, it took a few seconds for the shutter to close. I then ended up with a black screen. Even upping the ISO to 1000 made no difference using the 12-50mm or 45mm lenses.

My question is, I have two Panasonic lenses, a 20mm and a 45-175mm power zoom. Does using either of these cause the camera to malfunction. After resetting the camera, the problem seems to be resolved, but this is annoying having to reset settings.

Would It be advisable to stick with Olympus lenses?

Thanks in advance.

Do your Panny  lenses suffer from the rattlesnake curse  owners of OMD have reported?  Try out and see if you have it.

Regards.
