My experience was fantastic - emailed them on the dedicated address for platinum service, got a prepaid box in the post, sent camera with copy of receipt and received fixed camera two days later. All this happened between Monday and Friday in the week before Christmas.
From what I can see on various internet sites, it seems that two things are necessary: the original receipt and the camera must have been meant for the market in which the warranty repair is being sought.
Any idea if a receipt for a used X-100 from an authorized Fujifilm dealer would be considered for SAB repair? Hopefully my S/N 21xxxx will not suffer SAB, but just curious.
I just think that things should work the way I expect them to.
