Re: Opinions on Sigma 30 and 19mm lenses in general

I have the 30mm. I got it for $99 and couldn't resist. It is sharp and seems to perform best wide open (which doesn't happen many times). Autofocus is fast. Build quality is good. My only minor complaint is the focus ring. It is a little flexible and too much pressure will cause it to stick.

If you want a lens in this focal length, I don't think you'll be unhappy with it. In fact, it changed my opinion of Sigma lenses (after having a few duds on my Nikon) and I'll keep an eye on their lineup for MFT.

I can't speak to the 19mm but I imagine, if it is anything like the 30, it is just as good if not better. B&H has both for $200... I don't think you can go wrong.
