Probably should add that I don't find this a particularly sharp lens, but end up using it quite often with the UWA converter as it's such a useful range when sightseeing. Switching to my the 35mm F1.8 feels like a breath of fresh air, but I don't find 52mm (equiv) as practical when in 'tourist' mode!

It's not super sharp, but I think it has its place. I think the 10-18mm is much sharper, and would be quite a good lens to have, but I'm not in the market for it right now.

I should add that a polarising filter isn't really a good idea on a wide lens as too much of the sky will be in the shot and you'll get strange results.
