1.5mm photo posterboard
Can anyone relate experience and / or point me to a source for 1.5mm photo cardstock / posterboard? I'm trying to work up a process which will involve die-cutting the result. Originally was thinking of using adhesive-backed paper and a backer but after some testing I'm thinking the labor involved makes it unworkable. 1.5mm as it's the thickest that will feed through an epson 3880 if I read the specs right.
An alternative would be a heat-activated backer board; would appreciate any thoughts on this vs direct printing on posterboard and preferences for types and brands of heat-activated backer. Also any advice on small scale (8x10 max size) presses for heat activation, or vacuum systems.
