It depends...

On 35mm format (FF), 85mm to 135mm focal length are traditionally considered ideal for head shots and head-and-shoulders portraits. This translates to something in the 45mm to 60mm (or even 75mm) range for m43. Using longer lenses results in flattened faces. Going wider and the nose looks too big.

If shooting full body, then you can certainly go wider. 17mm is about the widest I would go, and maybe up to around 45mm (actual focal length).

But rules were meant to be broken, so it really depends on your preference.
