Me too!  I’ve been considering the 7D since it came out, and would love to see a birder compare it to the 6D. I chose the 6D because I’ve been doing more landscapes and films, also I think it will be better for wildflowers.  But since I still want to do birds, I’ve been worried about the autofocus, especially as Mike says, the first reports were so negative. Suffice to say I’m no longer worried. It suits my centre-point kind of shooting like a glove.
