How limiting is lack of image stabilization in Pany bodies?

This is not exactly true. I can think of a need for some form of physical Image Stabilisation, whether it is OIS or IBIS or something else.

Video recording, without a tripod, with a Rolling Shutter sensor (and all m43 cameras have a Rolling Shutter Sensor).

Rolling shutter artifacts are not just limited to skew, the sloping effect when doing fast horizontal pans. Random horizontal shake results in vertical lines that are wavy, and random vertical shake results in scanlines that are stretched and squashed.

Having some form of physical IS, either in the lens or the sensor mount, is the only way to eliminate these artifacts, that can make video unwatchable.
