Get that angry person to pay for a new SB700! The 50 DX is not iTTL capable, it will not work with current Nikon, who use the CLS system. Your D 200 is CLS capable, therefore the 50 DX ain't gonna work in TTL. I believe it will work in auto mode, although I am not sure. And I'm pretty sure it will work in manual mode (the flash). When Nikon created the CLS system, a whole slew of flashes were made obsolete. Get another SB 600, or SB 800.
