When Adobe ACR is messy I use Silky or helicon Filter 5 for development with minimal adjustments export in TIFF 16 bits then open in ACR for fine adjustments

This solves the 10-15% of my shots where I can observe bleeding and or loss of fine details

In the 5D3 / XP1 I posted, I used for both helicon F5 and at same size it shoes that the XP1 is on par with the Canon, even if I had to enlarge slightly A remarkable result

As you know it' s easier to have a good sensor coverage with an APS C than with a FF

Another good surprise is that the high ISO of the Fuji is also remarkable, a result that was far to be obvious given the pix density (4.8 miu instead of 6.34)

Things have changed rapidly and the 2 big pigs should move also in the design of both sensor and tone curve management
