Since you are asking, I spent a few minutes playing with your shot! But remember, we all have different taste and our monitors may not have the same calibration1 Your shot looked too "pale" to me and I usually prefer more contrast!

I really like how you improved this photo with postprocessing and I do not find it excesive, rather very minor.
