with e-m5 IBIS, no longer need binoculars

agreed, on my latest holiday to Thailand and Laos, I took a small pair of binoculars.

but using the Olympus 40-150 m43 kit telephoto, with focus assist zoom (set to x5 from memory), and enabling stabilisation through the EVF, when you half press the shutter, this out performed the binoculars.

so one less thing to carry!

of course in certain cases, the stereo vision of the binoculars helps, but in most cases, all I really need is a telescope.

another useful trick of the e-m5
