Gee, considering the lousy battery life of the s100, if I switched out the battery whenever it got low, I'd have to carry a pocketful of spare batteries along for a full day of shooting. Let's see now, we buy a tiny camera that will fit into a shirtpocket, then we have to carry a pocketful of spare batteries and a spare camera in another pocket... I might as well carry a DSLR.

LOL..we got technology going backwards courtesy of Canon Company of Japang. it won't be called pocketable any more... its backpacketable. and canon are silent about this.....a typical japanese treatment to a negative feedback from their workmanship.
