I'm guessing here, but maybe people get less excited when they look at the price, manual focus and aperture ring characteristics...

For the mFT system - whatever brand you use - another (Voigtländer) lens to consider, though, specially if you belong to the (very) "Shallow DOF" brigade!

Actually manual focus and real aperture ring are huge selling points. Let's not forget the amazing build quality of Voigtländer lenses, too. Not to mention the buttery smooth feel og the focus ring. mmmmmmmmm

...I was not complaining - in fact - I also find the "Voigtländers" quite tempting - I was just guessing the forum apparently non-interest and putting some facts to table...

(BTW, I still have a perfectly working «Voigtländer Ultramatic CS» (one of the first reflex cameras, aka SLR) and many lenses, both from the sixties in perfectly - read mint - working conditions!)

It ain't all about shallow DoF, it's about shooting in low light at higher shutter speeds.

...Of course you're right, but still - for the mFT system - the lenses that will mitigate the shallow DOF handicap when compared to the APS-C and FF siblings...
