The shutter speed is 1/80 sec for the picture on the left, 1/30 sec for the one on the right. I had to increase the ISO to 200 and shutter speed to 1/30 sec to compensate for the underexposure at F8.

the Manual pic has more exposure compared to the A+ shot.

ISO 100, 1/80, f/5.6 == ISO 200, 1/80, f/8.  changing the shutter to 1/30 is too much correction.

The pics appear to be using flash as the main light.  You may not even need to change the ISO.  Using an auto-exposure speedlite (e.g. E-TTL), it may have enough power to automatically compensate for the change in aperture.
