As the "Nex3 / EP-M" in the NX lineup , there`s not a lot they can do to the NX1000 - the NX300 hasn`t really added a great deal to the NX210 (still no EVF port, same 20Mp sensor. LCD still isn`t the EX1-like full twist, same ergonomics etc) so putting an OLED screen into a new "NX1100" wouldn`t be a good move on their part

It could gain the bigger buffer and properly compessed RAWs (a 12 bit RAW should be no bigger than the pixel count - 20Mp = 20Mb files, a few more Mb for 14Bit) which would make it worth having as would a touch screen .

I still can`t see why Sammy dropped the EVF port - Rather senseless as they even have an EVF on the market for the NX100 (and an EVF isn`t going to kill sales of the SLR shap models, ask Panasonic) - Japanese camera companies are the most illogical of beasts (witness Canon, Nikon & Fuji wonderous blunders over the years) - looks like the disease has spread to Korea

why no EVF? poor sales on the old optional VF. although I can't blame the consumers considering the only existing EVF for the NX was horrible.

NX1000 successor in my opinion doesn't make sense, but the NX300 does if the reports are true that they improved the AF capability of the camera and enhanced the sensor further by introducing a new image engine which we have yet to see. I just hope that they make the DR much flexible rather than having to shoot at ideal exposure. focus peaking is a great addition for old manual focus lenses.
