Working late in the Lab
I really like this. That koala in the last one is a nice touch.
I'd like to start a mini-series covering the life of a researcher. There's a lot of emotion involved in scientific research, and I think it'd be great fun to try and capture some of that.
This girl was doing an experiment that required taking samples every 6 hours for 4 days. She was on day 3, and hadn't been home since it started. She'd brought a sleeping bag and was sleeping on the sofa in the tea room between her midnight and 6am time points. Very tough.
It's a great learning curve doing stuff like this. Even looking at those first attempts, I'm already seeing ways they can be improved and have 'life' and 'meaning' added to them.
