Safari: Buy a new camera or 14-140mm

At the moment an African Safari is on the cards and I would love to go back there. It's still in it early developement stage but it something some of us want to do again. Just to clear something up I went to South Africa four years ago and used a super zoom compact camera. I didn't have any real camera at the time and it got me into photography.

I got two MFT bodies and the safari trips requires three of my lenses. The reason is the animals can get very close and it's too dusty to change lenses. The only way around it is to buy a new body or buy Panasonic 14-140mm.

So my options are

G3 + 100-300 and GF2 + 14-140

G7 + 100-300, G3 + 45-150 and GF2 + 14-42

I will bring aditional lenses for walk arounds like a low light lens and a macro lens.

What do you think the best option?

Canon PowerShot G7 Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF2
