I picked up a Tamron 19-35mm lens second hand for $100 and it came with a 77mm Hoya polarizer filter. I wasn't expecting much from this lens but I actually like it as long as I don't use it at 19mm as the edges get very soft and distorted.

With the polarizer filter connected at 19mm I get vignetting but from 24mm on it's OK, the other thing I have notice you have to be careful how much effect to use as looking through the view finder the sky might look great but when you look at the photo on the CP the sky will be very dark and a bit grainy. But when used correctly the effect is grea
