When we shoot television stills like for a motion picture or TV show, any name brand product that the actors are shown holding or using, the manufacturer pays for that 'advertisement'. Even the vehicles you see in movies, those manufacturers pay for the cars being shown because they know it is literally free advertising.

Anyone remember the TV show Starsky & Hutch? Starsky drove a Ford Torino with a distinctive white emblem on the side. Ford sold a lot of cars with that color and emblem scheme.

For me, I air brush the name brand off the photo like Coca Cola we just make the whole can red. It is not worth paying the licensing fee these companies demand.
