Hi guys,

I bought a 16-35L lens last year in July for my 5d2 and I am quite happy with its quality, speed etc. However, I use this focal length mainly for traveling and I don't need the speed of 2.8 nor the small DOF. It's a nice to have but basically I'd prefer something lighter and smaller for my E-PL5.

Now I am thinking of selling the lens and getting the Panasonic instead. Does anyone have experience with both and how does the Pana perform on an Oly body? Is it worth to trade in for the Pana?

Any advise is much appreciated.

Sure the 7-14 F4 is a 14-28 equivalent and the Panasonic 12-35 2.8 is equal to 24-70mm

Do you do video with you your 5d2?

No not doing video at all with any camera. My field is still photography only. Most is people, street, sometimes travel shots.

If the pana is optically better than my 16-35L I would consider a change.
