That said, I think in practice the recovery abilities for this sensor are no worse than those of the D7000/D5100. And I like the way it reproduces blue areas better than the other Nikons:

Renato, Looking at the ISO 200 RAWs on RawDigger, I get a minimum of 17 for the G channel picture wide. The G channel in this area does stop at 32. Still, it's not lower than 10, and I suppose someone is going to have to take a picture with the lens cap on to get significant areas of super black. Which, when you think about it, is dumb.
