I try to buy a pancake lens. Could any pro tell me which one is better for em5?

I'm not a pro but let me answer your question.

The Lumix 20mm was the oldest among the extraordinary lenses made for m4/3 cameras. Some people have reported banding at hight ISO with that lens. Also focussing is fast but not as fast as the the new M.Zuiko 17mm, the Sigma 19mm and the Lumix 25mm prime lenses on an OM-D. It used to be among my favorite lenses.

If you can live with its minor shortcomings, that's probably the best pancake lens.

I'm no pro, either, but here's another vote for the Panasonic 20mm!

Some complain that it focuses slowly compared to other lenses, but on newer cameras, it's really not a problem, except in lower light where it can hunt a bit… what AF lens doesn't? But image quality is where the 20mm really shines, especially given that it's such a small lens. You really can't lose with that lens.

The 14mm is a good option, too. You can find them on eBay for around $160.

Why not get both?
