I'm lazy, so I tried to do the same directly in SPP with a DP2M shot. It may not be perfect, but increasing luminance noise reduction to MAX in SPP makes a huge difference for portraits. Makes a DP Merrill look much closer to an original DP (and more realistic too).

Definitely worth trying for DP3M owners if they feel the camera is a bit too analytic with skin...
