Re: A dog or a cat?

I get it now...cat lovers are better people, dog lovers have psychological issues.  OK, but around here dogs work for a living while the cat is a welfare case.  Your cat will not jump into a semi-frozen lake to get ducks, corner rabbits, find and hold wild boar, herd cattle, fight off coyotes, protect livestock and property.  But the cat will stink up the place pretty good...and kill several small birds for every mouse it catches (if you let the poor b*stard out that is).  But that is a small price to pay seeing the cat's sole purpose is to exist for you amusement.  I have dogs and cats...the cats live outside in the barn.
