Also, how is the manual focus on the X100 with the latest FW? I've seen people who love the camera say that it is almost unusable.


I used other cameras for other applications at this shoot, the X100 was working so well that I did not duplicate it for the low light dance photos.  For manual, I almost used the lens like freelensing would work, just quickly tryinig to achieve focus and firing. I missed a lot of shots, but she was dancing after all.  All of the other cameras I used were paired with strobes for posed images.  The manual focusing is not the ideal way I would use the X100 again.
