Must be hard to do with clouds, since the clouds are moving as you take your photos. Not to mention it sounds like it was a handheld shot.

Yes, it's hand held. That is the point of the experiment. Every thing is the same in all images. Nothin varies. It's a game with signal to noise ratio; the more images of the same thing, the less noise, the more you can sharpen/push/pull/filter/up-size and so on and so forth

Point is, you are up the river without a certain instrument, what do you do with the tiny camera with the tiny sensor? Make it bigger, better, sharper! This is just an experiment on what you kan do when you did not bring your full format DSLR and 10 L-lenses.
