Another strange bug with D4, possibly D800!?!?

Mike understands right, another explaination...

I think he understands that. The point he is making, I think, is that the exposure changes when he lets go of the AF-ON button. When he presses af-on the focus locks. When he recomposes the exposure changes as he expects it will and as you have pointed out. But when he lets go of AF-on the exposure calculation changes dramatically. Am I understanding the OP correctly?

Mike, you are right:

1. I focus and hold the AF-ON button configured to "AF lock only" using a8.

2. I recompose, still hold AF-ON, exposure changes, but not to the "right exposure". A shoot would be misexposed.

3. After recompose, if I let the AF-ON go the exposure changes dramatically. That´s what mustn´t happen. The exposure would be right now, but focus would go.
