Hi guys, I've been shooting for over two yrs now mainly as a second photographer at weddings (9todate). I've recently been asked to shoot a family portrait of a passed client and I'm looking to invest in a decent Tripod, something to use not just for portraits but macro and landscapes in the future. When working i use my colleagues Gitzo GT2541 which is far to expensive for me. My employer suggested three tripods
: The BENRO Versatile A2970F
: Manfrotto 190XPROB
: Giottos GTMTL9361B -3
If anyone has any advice on any alternatives and heads I'm all ears. Thanks

All I can say is that I bought a lightweight manfrotto which i thought i could take abroad, pack and carry easily. We have heavier versions but I thought manfrotto being a good make this would be worth having for my 7D. It is a 785B and it is useless! It is not strong enough to hold a DSLR firmly at all. So my advice it don't buy that model.
