The Canon will have better high ISO performance, but is this the end of the story? For your application, the K5 and the fast prime lenses you have are quite good, I would say. Moving to full frame, you will need to get the Canon equivalent to your Limiteds, and that means fast L primes. Now, these do not come cheap...

Say you get the 50 L (similar to your 31 Ltd), and the 85 L (or 135 L) (similar to your 77 Ltd). Do the sums... of course you can get the 50 1.4, or the 85 1.8, but these will not do the honours to a full frame sensor...

So, my advice would be to think carefully, do you need to go above ISO 3200 on the K5? I have used the K5 in the past, and got excellent results at high ISO with careful use of noise reduction in Lightroom, for example.
