Help with my HVL-F20AM Flash
I have the HVL-F20AM flash and have used it successfully in the past. For some reason it doesn't seem to be working now but I want to make sure I have the settings correct before I blame the flash or the camera.
When I lift up the flash to turn it on, it shows that it is charged- both the green and orange lights are on. However, when I take photo, the flash doesn't go off. When I look at the back of the camera I have noticed that there is an orange blinking dot next to the flash symbol (the lightening bolt). If I take the flash off of the camera and use the built-in flash, it works just fine and the orange dot on the back of the camera is steady- it does not blink.
Fill flash is set on the camera. I have checked it to make sure.
Does anyone know what is happening? Did I explain the situation clearly?
