Thanks for the link. Unfortunatley my ISP is down at the moment, so I'm surfing from my phone and its auto compressing the pics! - will check out the images once I'm properly back on line!!

They show huge differences between the cheap and good filters.

This kind of difference is usually very evident for telephoto. If one buys a polarizer for exclusive use with wide angle shots one might get away with a cheap one without ever noticing anything wrong.

Same is true with other filters too. Telephoto use demands better quality filters.
