I also thought it was the profile of the 18-55 lens. However, I took another picture with no lens, but with the camera opening facing the gray card, so the "gray" fills up the LCD screen. The result is the same as the 18-55 kit lens.

So now it is pretty sure the Konica lens is somehow fooling the automatic white balance to make it read high (3100 vs. 2850 for the 18-55). Funny thing is, the custom white balance for both (and no) lens, all show the same 2900.

BTW, my SEL18200LE behaves the same as the SEL1850 (and no lens). Just the Konica is different.

The wife is just telling me that I have too much time on my hands.
